Before I begin, I would just like to state this: I am not materialistic by nature. But it would be lying when I say that material things don't make me happy at times. They do, of course. I could go on and on about how things can't provide utmost and absolute gaiety, but that's not the point now.
So here is a list of the things that I want to have. Most of them are expensive, I know. But despite that, I am quite sure that I will own all of them some time in the future. Not anytime soon, of course, that need not be said.
1. DSLR Camera - I've always been in love with photography. When I was still young, I took great pleasure in fiddling with our point-and-shoot camera. I don't suppose I will be a professional photographer in the future, but I consider the slight possibility. (Why only slight? Well, I'm not that great a photographer, and lots of people out there are definitely much better.) There are several instances wherein I wish I had a camera with me, because there are so many beautiful views outside that are waiting to be photographed.
2. Mountain Bike - Biking is a pleasure, needless to say. We have a bicycle here, but it is quite old and rusting. And not to mention that it is a bit too small for my taste. My mother approved the idea of buying me a bike so I won't have to commute in UPLB. Unfortunately, though, my dad said that it was too dangerous. Seriously, he is undeniably exaggerated at times.
3. Badminton Racket - I used to have my own badminton racket, considering that I was a varsity player back when I was twelve years old. But my annoying brother broke it. I do wish I'll be able to buy a new one someday. After all, I am intending to join the varsity team here in college.
4. Violin - When I bought my violin three years ago, I wasn't vying for quality. All I wanted was to own a violin and learn how to play it. But now that I am already beyond being a beginner, a better violin would be wonderful. Although the skill of the fiddler is still the main factor, having a magnificent violin will definitely help produce a much fuller and vibrant sound.
5. Graphic Tablet - I am just beginning to explore the wonders and beauty of digital art, and thus far I am learning and improving a lot. Though this is the last in the list, this is actually the thing that I am about to buy soon. Next month, if all goes well.
